Wyndham Tropicana At Las Vegas Resort Review
We love our travel club and use it for pleasure and business. This trip was business. And our 7 night/8 day stay in our 2 bed/2 bath fully furnished condo was just $398, tax included. We’ll tell you more about that after our review but first let’s show you around the place.
Driving in from the airport was basically a straight shot. We lived in Las Vegas for 13 years and knew the location of the Wyndham Tropicana at Las Vegas well.
The dry heat was a fond reminder of those days.
Front entrance from the side view
Check in was a breeze.
We arrived about 3 pm and it was pretty quiet. Got our keys and parking pass and headed to the condo.
Parking was not assigned.
Just park where you want. You can see some have covering and others don’t. There was always plenty of parking spaces.
Nice Desert Landscaping
Exterior colors of warm cream with dark brown trim, stucco and rock was typical desert landscaping. Very nice. The grounds were extremely well kept. The walking paths and rest areas were very nice.
Here’s our condo.
Go down the steps a few and that’s our door.
2 Bed / 2 Full Bath / Full Kitchen, Dining, Living Rooms
Let’s Check Out The Bedrooms… This Way…
The bedroom on the left is secondary with a full bath right across the hall on the right.
Master Bedroom with En-Suite
This bedroom is at the end of the hall. The room wasn’t any larger than the secondary but it is more private being in the back of the condo and having a private bath.
The color tones were earthy which I really liked. I also like the big floor tiles.
We are just below ground level a bit. There was a small alcove with a little table and two chairs. Also in this alcove was a washer/dryer stack set in a utility closet.
A Surprise Friend
We had a feral cat that kept an eye on us. And yeah, we fed him/her a little bit.
Wyndham Tropicana At Las Vegas Amenities
The resort is not big. It’s just right if you want to escape the huge city like hotel seen. This resort is exactly what you’d see in a condo complex if you lived there.
Here’s the pool and hot tub area with cabanas. It did have handicap chairs for the pool and hot tub.

Wyndham Tropicana At Las Vegas Review Summary
The staff was always very pleasant and friendly. The grounds were kept clean. The condos were comfortable and and the location was perfect. We would have no concerns about staying here again. However, we’d want to stay at another of our great resorts that we have in our travel club registry just for variety. We love that!
The convention we were here in Las Vegas for was held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino which was just a few blocks away. We pulled out of the driveway and you can see how close we are to the strip.
We had a car but if you didn’t, you could easily Uber anywhere in a matter of minutes.
Don’t Buy The Wyndham Tropicana At Las Vegas Timeshare
Join The Travel Club Membership Instead
The Wyndham Tropicana At Las Vegas Resort is a timeshare that people pay $20,000 plus for.
- They pay annual maintenance fees.
- They have date restrictions as to when they can use it.
- They are limited to how many times a year they can stay.
- They are subject to special assessments.
In fact, here’s what maintenance fees/special assessments look like.
This was a picture I snapped when we stayed at the Wyndham Smoky Mountains. While we were there, several units were getting new air conditioners. Well, I don’t know about you, but maintenance like this sounds costly to me! I feel like a home owner and have to pay the fees. That’s what timeshares are only you just get to stay 1 week a year.
Not worth it if you ask me! Who does that make sense to?

Live, Laugh and Travel friends!
Here’s the whole family! We wanted to post this because our kids grew up in Las Vegas and we camped all the time at Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon. We drove up from Las Vegas and our lives are filled with those great memories. This picture was taken sitting on the wall of the Lodge there at the North Rim.
